To safely and accurately preserve our family and company history by developing educational programs for all generations, managing the family genealogy, and documenting our evolving history.

Committee activities include:

  • Planning and delivering educational materials and activities for the family.
  • Collecting, reviewing, and awarding the J.M. Burguières, Sr. Educational Award on an annual basis.
  • Conducting interviews with members of our older generations.
  • Compiling biographies on various family members. Many of these biographies have become part of a booklet documenting our veterans and family memories during war times.
  • Researching our Burguières ancestors and allied families.
  • Developing and updating the family tree.
  • Exploring our genetic genealogy through DNA projects.
