2023 Family Council Meeting and Stockholder Meeting Photos
The Family Assembly Meeting was led by Cathy Eagan Gill, Chair, with attending Family Council Members, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. CST.
An Opening Prayer was led by "Lilla" Lillamaud Leike Hammond, wife of "Bill" William Hammond, deceased, (Patout Branch), followed by Committee presentations from Cathy Eagan Gill, Chair (Inez Branch), Dan Kammer, Deputy Chair (Henry Branch), Holly Vogel, Member-at-Large (Henry Branch), and Cindy Cangiolosi, Communications and Web Designer (Denis Branch). Unable to attend were: Leila Bristow Hines, Historian (Ernest Branch), Michele Reed, Member-at-Large (Patout Branch), and Cherie Gilbert, Member-at-Large (Patout Branch).
Previous to the Family Assembly Meeting, the Annual Meeting of the Stockholders of The J.M. Burguières Co., Limited, was begun at 9:00 a.m. CST in the Queen Anne Ballroom. At the Meeting, the Board and management reviewed the 2022 financial performance of the Company, land holdings, the development of the ecologial offset business line, elected the Board of Directors, and celebrated the contributions and retirements of Glenn Vice, Jessie Breaux, and Debi Lauret.

A delicious brisket was prepared with au jus.
Traditional, Louisiana dishes were served.
Salads, vegetables, and dishes of all types presented.
The dessert table was beautiful!
Rich chocolate cakes with raspberry filling, and creme brulèe.
Cannolis, pecan pie tarts, and French pasteries.
