Elle is the daughter of Lacey Backes Cangiolosi and Joel Cangiolosi, IV, and the granddaughter of Cindy McCurley Cangiolosi and Joseph L. Cangiolosi, III. She is the great-granddaughter of Dolores Burguières LeBlanc (Denis Branch).
