Someone to Brag About! Camryn Aaliyah Cangiolosi
Ever since Camryn Aaliyah could walk, she began her beginning steps towards cheer competitions by enrolling in basic gym and dance classes. These classes would progress to more rigorous workouts in dance, gymnastics and cheer as she achieved higher levels of success.
Her endeavor has had the support of the whole family since she began, and she has a network of cheer moms and friends for over 6 years who back her as Camryn has been a cheerleader at Dutchtown Middle and Dutchtown High Schools in Ascension Parish.
Camryn competed in the UCA National Cheer Competitions in high school until the Covid19 pandemic. She as well as her team were heartbroken as they were unable to compete her Senior year, and they had built the team they were sure to place first in.
Nevertheless, with perseverance, determination, and faith believing she'd, one day, compete again, Camryn continued to work out and practice as allowed.
When Camryn was chosen to be on the Southeastern Louisiana University Cheer Team, the rebuilding process began, again, and this being their first year together as a cheer team obtaining such a high win is a testament to Camryn and her team's fortitude and determination.
Congratulations, Camryn!
