The Azalea Project - Phase 1 and Phase 2 Were Huge Successes!
Blessing of the Azaleas and Dedication of Blessed Mother Statue Held October 8, 2022
(See link following photos below)

The Azalea Project and beautification of the property in Franklin, LA has been a huge success, and now, we are planning another planting in Phase 2. In April, a total of 28 three-gallon azaleas were planted as well as 2 concrete benches were installed on the grounds of the Cypremort House. The property was trenched to prepare and install a complete water irrigation system, and each azalea bush was spaced and planted to ensure their growing success. The azaleas were planted in a row to the left side of the House to allow access to the back area for special events. More azaleas could be planted as well as benches installed for Phase 2 of the Project.
If you missed the first planting of azaleas, and the installation of concrete benches, now, is the perfect time to participate. In fact, an e-mail with an order form attached was sent from the Family Council on July 23.
The cost of each azalea is $50, and a concrete bench is $100. They can be dedicated to a loved one or simply, purchased for the beautification of the property.
NOTE: Due to Hurricane Ida, you may, still, submit monies to Debi Lauret for the Azalea Project. We encourage you to submit your monies, soon, as the plants, benches and materials will be purchased prior to planting as weather permits, hopefully, in the Spring. When a sufficient amount of orders have been submitted, and as the weather allows, the second planting will begin.
Soon to come, will be a diagram with a complete listing of the dedications for the azaleas and benches, and/or donors who have contributed to the beautification of the Cypremort House property. We would like to have a family gathering and blessing of the azaleas. So, stay tuned, and check your e-mails and this website for more information.

Phase 1 of the Azalea Project Completed
History of the Azalea Project: On February 20, 2021, The Azalea Project was introduced by Cathy Eagan Gill, Chair of the Family Council, during the Family Assembly Meeting in New Orleans via Zoom. The Project proposed an azalea to be planted on the grounds of the Cypremort House to serve as a tribute for our loved ones, or could be planted as a donation to add to the beautification of the grounds. The cost is $50 for the purchase and planting of each azalea.
As the Project developed, concrete benches were proposed and approved for the same purpose at a cost of $100 each. Family members or shareholders wishing to beautify the grounds or wish to have a bench dedicated to a loved one may, still, do so.
